A brief thought on MySpace

Tags: MySpace web design

I rarely visit MySpace pages, and when I do, I feel time has gone back to the '90s: some music starts automatically, loads of animations appear(especially all those Flash image slide shows), the page takes ages to load, as if I had a dial-up line.

This experience reminds me of an old Simpsons episode, in which Homer build his first web page, packed with animated gifs, including a dancing Jesus:

You can have a look at a faithful reproduction of the graphics heavy web page, including background annoying noises.
